Must be well almost explain what WWOOF "is all about" First of all it stands for "Willing Workers On Organic Farms" That means we work 4-6 hours each day or less, where we get room and board, the keyword is exchanging or "Exchange," The only thing you need to become a WWOOF'er is WWOOF book that cost around 50 AUD.
Back to Lancefield, the day before we traveled from Sydney stressed I and Alexander with and obtain a space where we could do some WWOOF `ing, after we had called a dozen farms in Melbourn area that we had been rejected. When Martin called us, he had not taken the phone so he called us up again, he had room to fit two Norwegians in his caravan. We said yes and the next day we took the plane to Melbourne. We had agreed that Martin would pick us up at the airport when we expected so we were both two pretty excited about the type of car that drove Martin. So see Alexander one Sleten yellow WV Golf 1 (first type of golf) first joking engros that he certainly engros is he, which turned out be true.
When we arrived at the farm of Martin we got greeted Ynte that Martins girlfriend who is pregnant and 3 months pregnant. Bob Martin had a party the night we arrived so we were invited over to greet next door, where we were served some meat that was to be the last one we tasted engros in a long time, the reason for that is that when I and Alexander called around for WWOOF 'ing so we were maybe a little happy that we had found a place that we overlooked a small detail and it was that Martin & Ynte was "vegetarien" This was the really neat the first 10 days, but there were moments, many moments where at least I thought the fried kyllingfillet, a succulent steak, you name it. I even dreamed that I had me a meal with meat. Can write about the work we have done here at Martin's farm, but first I sei it here with work hours is amazing. The first evening we were told by Martin that he would wake us 7am the next day. This did not happen, since he found out both I and Alexander alike and sleep a little FRAMPÅ. Then he felt there was no point to wake us up, "No worries, mates" We did not do this every day then stood up the 8 and 9 then. Working time has never exceeded three hours, I think, we work maybe an hour + + is also a long lunch break, followed by some work afterwards. So I'm not complaining I!
A slightly unusual engros working day: The day was Sunday, in Norway is Sunday more commonly known as the day of rest, but not in Australia. The reason this work day was a bit special is that it rained a bit this Sunday, not only that. The day before so we had bought a box of Corona, but this we drank on Saturday night. So what do you do when a little squall of rain, the! you bounce a beer while waiting for the rain to stop. As there were several "Mexicans who knocked engros on the door" And there stood namely Sierra Tequila, after three shots of tequila (with salt and lemon of course) + a few more beers then there was the return to work. The whole thing was a pretty fun work, not all places you can go for a beer + + in broad daylight during working hours.
What we have done work are: Retrieving soil from a small valley, using shovels, buckets and wheelbarrows, planted some strawberry plants, moved with trailer loads of scrap and raw muscle, played with bobcat, crafted here a little engros late. Incredibly varied work.
Vegetarien Food: This eating vegetarian food is very special, it was as if after every meal so thought it would be twice as much better and more powerful if there was any meat in the soup, in Pastan or Pizza. After you have eaten a meal with vegetarien food, I feel like hungry again. engros But I can honestly say I have never in all my life eaten so much fruit and vegetables in the 10 days. Detect the the body too, feel very fresh and fast, so hard to find, so you need not really eat meat. But I ask myself engros "Koffor not" or "Why not". Now I will not go vegeterian food down in the mud either, as it actually engros (believe it or not) is pretty good food. The pizza and Pastan I have tasted here've been fairly amazing.
The turning point Back to "Day 10" This day was I and Alexander spend in Melbourne city, since Martin had some accounts, he had to fix his parents'. Before that day, I was determined and eat "vegetarian food" It was like something I would finish side was this little special farm. Alexander however was planning on eating meat that he has never eaten meat before, hehe.
Melbourne engros City: After going countless hours in Melbourne city, so I had to throw in the towel. The choice was Subway, engros where they sell several other staged sandwichs, I bought one with chicken and it tasted like it was sent from heaven, no, it was a completely decent sandwich. For dinner we both had a succulent chicken burger engros with lots of pomme frites, this meal was a real mannaporsj
