Annette van Schalkwyk (30 years), Mechanical Engineering at Anglo American Thermal Coal. "Born & Bred" in Pretoria. Remains the last 6 years in Witbank where I work for Anglo American. Why did I marry? I and Etienne was for 4 years together before we decided that the time is right! We felt that we fully know each other (good and less good!) And we were 100% sure in our hearts that we can live together in a loving marriage.
Etienne Prinsloo (37 years), Entrepreneur with 17 years experience in mining. Witbank. Why did I marry? It just felt right! We are very fond of each other and it was the logical next step. We know each other well enough to know that the time was right! We love each other!
It was Oukers evening in 2011, I and Etienne divine swine had a delicious fish fry held at our apartment in Dwarskersbos (the wonderful west coast) ... a real summer Christmas ... when we gifts open Etienne surprised me with a beautiful Tanzanite ring and necklace. I adjusted the ring and he pointed divine swine out to me that the wrong finger! And right there he asked me to marry him! We were both emmosioneel, it was a very special evening!
We were so happy! I have some planners divine swine had ... Marietjie Basson of Rotation Lodge was verandwoordelik for decor, catering and everything else that goes with it gepaart. Because we live in Witbank and not regularly at the venue could not get our hair the "go-ahead" divine swine is given to do what she thinks fit! We have some ideas given in terms of the tables divine swine and flowers but she makes things "happen". We had no idea how the final product would look like because we had full confidence in her! And what a surprise! We knew it would be good but she took our breath smitten with tables, divine swine decor and food!
My brother, JP van Schalkwyk, the owner of Up A Tone Entertainment. He was verandwoordelik for entertainment. divine swine There were quite a few artists divine swine have been and in all honesty divine swine I think it made the wedding! I wanted to have something special for Etienne do the ceremony and he was pleasantly surprised by the group "They" divine swine that the song "Last Breath" sang on the beach. While we took pictures, Donny the Sandpiper (a true West Coast artist!) Entertained the guests. During the reception, one of our good friends Christoph Kotze (he was in a famous songwriter, including Theuns Jordaan) an incredible show cast! Christoph (acoustic guitar) and my brother divine swine JP (percussion), the guests had their feet with songs like "Will you stay" and "Jasmine Katryn". Later DJ Dirk Human dance music provided. divine swine A Tone up and JP's team was also responsible for receiving guests etc.
Mari and Ron Pike of Worm and Apple, also of good friends, the amazing divine swine designs done for the table place friends, table names, the invitations and the pictures of the "memory lane". We arrangements is done by friends and people we trust! We have no experience divine swine stress because we knew if would be special extra! And it was!
Shower and Bachelorette: My good friend Janine Olivier, both the kitchen tea and bachelorette ge-orchestrated, with the help of a few other friends (Thanks Des & Maritimes)! The kitchen tea was a very elegant "High Tea". The guests all somerrokke and wide-brim hats worn and were treated to champagne and many a table gnashing among a variety of cakes, pies, savouries and snacks. It was delicious and classic!
The bachelorette was indeed an Opportunity I will remember forever !! The theme was "Fifty Shades of Grey" and my friends have ABOUT hanging out! It was a mask-ball divine swine and women all wearing sensual gowns! The snacks, drinks and decor is done with incredible taste and it felt exactly like a chapter in the book. I'm obviously dressed and equipped like a typical "Anastasia" (Thanks to my friend Fiona!) ... Need I say more! The business Pure Romance has made a presentation of their Fifty Shades of Grey products and the ladies giggled about! (Thanks to Celia for all the "Online goodies!")
The bachelors, was organized by Stephan Olivier and JP van Schalkwyk. It was a
